The Umweltforum Auferstehungskirche flooded with light is a unique location. The event church disposes of 1,200 square metres of event surface on which events to 400 people can be realised in film seats. Mobile glass walls render the location bright and adaptable. Generous event surfaces for fairs or catering can originate as well as smaller lounges and VIP's areas. The open entrance hall lies in the modern cultivation. Together with the outside terrace it is a popular place for receipts, breaks and get-togethers.
Of course the house disposes of modern event technology. Environmental technology and the possibility to meet climate-neutrally stand for the strictly ecological adjustment.

The history

The Auferstehungskirche built in 1895 was strongly destroyed during the Second World War and afterwards was rebuilt only simplisticly. Up to the reunification the damages to the building had so increased that a comprehensive renovation was necessary. The idea of an event centre originated in the church. The new cultivation of glass and steel contrasts successfully with the historical brick church and produces again its original proportions. Equipped with modern event technology the Umweltforum Auferstehungskirche meets all wishes.

To meet climate-neutrally

Green meeting lies in the trend. With the Umweltforum ecology and lastingness have been capitalised from the beginning. The house disposes of varied environmental technology: total energy unit, solar equipment, solar facade and mucky plaster walls. Stream is covered exclusively from renewable resources. The covered with greenery roof makes a contribution to the improvement of the town climate. Drinks from ecological cultivation are a standard, if requested there is also catering with products from ecological cultivation.
NEW: a climate calculator on the Internet site besondere-orte.com calculates the issues CO2 of an event. The issues are neutralised by investment in checked climate protection projects. By this worldwide approved form of compensation the event receives the status of "climate neutrality".
