From 1924 to 1926 the ‚Umspannwerk’ was built by the architect Hans Heinrich Müller: For many years it had been operated by the BEWAG before it was shut down. Since 2002 after a complete restoration the exclusive industrial architecture gleams in new splendour. At the ‘Umspannwerk Kreuzberg’ are newly created comfortable event rooms. Meet or celebrate in a relaxing but inspiring atmosphere in the centre of Berlin.

In the former control-room workshops, conferences and receptions take place regularly. An imposing glass roof extends over the conference rooms and provides for a light ambience. Your guests reach the control-room over a staircase from the old generators hall through a separate entrance. In row seating 150 persons have room in that event room respectively 80 guests with seating in banquet style. There is also a small reception area to welcome your guests. We will gladly look after the required presentation equipment for your event.

The ‚Umspannwerk Kreuzberg’ is easy to reach by public transport. The underground station ‘Schönleinstrasse’ is in a walking distance of only a few minutes.
