The architecture office of Gerkan, Marg and partner created a futuristic construction which considers ecological and formative aspects equally. Almost like a big blossom the roof puts itself on the facade with many glass surfaces. The central situation is another advantage. The Potsdam place is removed only some minutes on foot. Your guests reach the location without any problems by own vehicles and the public local traffic.

The big arena forms the beaming centre in the Tempodrom. In the middle lies the 25 square metres’ ring. The roof towers till 30-metre height and creates a breathtaking atmosphere. Without fail one must direct the look upwards. On the rostrums the visitors of all seats have an optimum view field. This perfectly circular space is suitable ideally for big events of all kind. Around the arena are placed various areas for the crew staff. Very modern light technology, audio engineering and stage technique exists of course.

Everything is conceived in such an adaptable way that different seat variations are possible, for example, parliamentarily for 2670 guests or banquet seats for 2722 people.
