Festive ambience for special occasions

As to its historical dedication the “Bärensaal” is an auditorium for the public life of Berlin. The town house counts to the most important historic architectural monuments of the historical centre, today it is an official seat of the senate management for internal affairs and sport and the land monument office.

The space constructed clearly and architecturally quietly is suited for festive occasions of the most different kind. It is used as film location and with pleasure for wedding ceremonies.

According to the further equipment, the 365 m ² big place offers room for about 200 people with a standing receipt, up to 500 people with a gala dinner and approx. 300 people in row seats. We discuss you with pleasure as to the varied creation possibilities.

The hall-stand is suited very well for a receipt of the guests and wakes up the curiosity on the “Bärensaal” lying behind it. You can already see from the entrance the name-giving sculpture. The joining open inner courtyard is an attractive supplement in suitable weather.

This special location is very well accessible by the central situation in the centre of the town with look at the Red City Hall, the Nikolai quarter or the Television Tower. Numerous hotels are in immediate nearness.

The town house is a used office building. The interests of the official company must be considered with setting and beginning of the event (e.g., sound check from 17.00 o'clock).

The sensitive marble floor must be protected by suitable measures.

Day events are possible in restricted extent.
