If you enter the uma restaurant in Berlin, this is like a trip to Asia. Far Eastern ambience receives you in this design location. It is luxurious, but not overloaded with details. The dark stone grounds and walls of jade provide for a comfortable atmosphere.
Landmarks of the Japanese inspired location are two antique clay horses from the Chinese Han dynasty. Hence, this is the origin of the restaurant’s name: uma is the Japanese word for horse. The rooms are suitable for receipts and banquets with up to 200 guests. With pleasure you can use the uma restaurant also as film location.
The extensive guest space is divisible by sliding doors covered with silk, so that smaller groups also do feel fine. Eye-catchers are both open show kitchens where you can watch cooking Chef Stephan Zuber and his team.
