The brick complex of buildings was built in the second part of the 19. century and is protected as a historic monument since 1994. During the turn of the millennium it was cautiously refurbished by the architects Gerkan, Mark and Partner. As a result of this the Ringkammerofenhalle, in which porcelain was baked up to 1963, and the former Schlämmereigebäude, in which at that time the valuable porcelain mass was worked up, now are available as lively historic places for your events.

With the inauguration of the permanent exhibition KPM World the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur causes occasion to get an overview of the 245-year-old history of Berlin porcelain and the steady traditional handcraft.
