The Urania Berlin is the perfect setting for major events of all kinds. Fairs and congresses are realized as well as anniversary celebrations and galas.

Humboldt-Saal
The mirrored cube at the crossroads Kleiststraße/Ecke An der Urania hosts the most spacious event hall of the educational center: The Humboldt-Saal seats 866 persons. Willy Brandt gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the Urania Berlin at the10th November 1962. The recently restored hall hosts regularly the great authorities of our time. The Berlinale uses the hall with its 72 sq. m. sized screen as a location for its premieres. In every spring the Urania-medal is awarded for social commitment in this atmospheric setting. 

Kleist-Saal
The Kleist-Saal in the old building possesses a capacity for 284 persons. Open forums and lectures are given here. Furthermore the Urania has available various foyers with about 500 sq. m. of space and several more smaller event rooms. In case you book the whole building exclusively for your event you may welcome up to 1.200 persons in our rooms. The central location downtown makes a fast and unproblematic arrival via public transport possible.
