THE STORY OF BERLIN is the ideal location to closely experience the town history without relinquishing a festive atmosphere.
In more than 20 theme rooms the visitors experience the history of Berlin from the foundation in the Middle Ages to the break down of the Wall – with all their senses.
Start your evening event with a welcome drink in the foyer of the exhibition. Our friendly STORY guides accompany your guests for an entertaining walk through 800 years of Berlin history. We abstain from a tiring listing of historical dates because Berlin as a metropolis throughout the centuries and its citizens stand in the centre of attraction.
After the guided tours enjoy an exclusive dinner in our last theme room ‚Die Geteilte Stadt’ (the divided town) – an ultimate event location with impressing real Wall-segments and Erich Honecker’s last state coach.
For bigger groups the first exhibition floor (time tunnel) is most appropriate for an extraordinary stand-up reception. Primarily theme-related catering ideas can be created inside the adventure worlds of Berlin.
The probably most unconventional location for an event is the original fallout shelter under the ‘Kurfürstendamm’. As a relict from the Cold War it offers a wonderful contrast to the festively illuminated event area where is room for up to 350 persons. As far as possible the shelter stays in its original condition.
Creativity, speed and a lot of fun offers our incentive: the Berlin-quiz. Similar to a scavenger hunt your guests will be interactively guided through the exhibition rooms. Here they compete in small groups in order to solve the theme-tasks as a team. And incidentally the guests learn more about Berlin and the citizens!
