Here history is breathed and present is lived: the former cinema KOSMOS has been opened in 1961 solemnly and was sketched by the architects Josef Kaiser,  Herbert Aust and Günter Kunert. An architecturally valuable building, the end of the 90s meticulously was renovated – without changing, besides, the basic architecture standing under conservation of monuments and historic buildings. Today the KOSMOS offers one of the most unmistakeable and most elegant locations in Berlin – adaptable and variously applicable.

Whether a big event for 1,000 people, the a little bit other birthday party for 50 people or a thrilling wedding celebration for 200 guests: on a total of 2,600 square metres seven changeable rooms offer the suitable background for your event. The rooms in an overview

Entrance hall area / lounge

Here in comfortable atmosphere your guests can enjoy the most announced cocktails and taste select wines. The lounge offers place for about 600 people and orders more than 250 to 300 seats. An ideal space for receipts –upon request the seats can be formed variably.

Hall 1 - main hall

The revived main hall is the centre and climax of the KOSMOS. The oval form of the 1,000 square metre construction, with a space height of on an average eight metres, gives a ballroom character to this unique event location. The most modern technology belongs of course to it in the main hall. According to event kind up to 1,200 people can experience a wonderful evening.

Kosmos Lounge

Here with a capacity of about 120 people celebrations can take place in a smaller, but more luxurious frame. Many-sided usable and very elegantly furnished.

Circulation / exhibition space

With its 300 square metres the circulation surrounds half of hall 1 in the KOSMOS. The location offers excellent possibilities for exhibitions and for the order of exhibition stands. The single event rooms are accessible about the circulation. Bright, friendly and technically fully equipped.

Smoker lounge

A special service for all smokers: at the KOSMOS nobody must stand in the rain if a smoker's break is announced. In that comfortably, Mediterranean furnished Smoker lounge smokers can withdraw into rest and relax.

Summer terrace

Enjoy the hot hours and days of the year with a panoramic look at the Berlin television tower in Mediterranean atmosphere on the solar terrace. Whether barbecue, fresh salads or original Thuringian grilled sausage – the KOSMOS team makes of your event a dreamlike celebration with Mediterranean atmosphere.

Hall 2 and hall 10

Two halls which offer ideal terms of utilisation by its architectural state for the most different events. With an inclination corner of 20 degrees the halls are built up like a plenary hall – and with it are perfectly suitable for talks or presentations. Technically on the most modern state, the halls are equipped with film projection technology. Capacity per hall: 290 people.

Hall 5

On a base of 300 square metres this hall with its technically flawless and many-sided equipment offers ideal conditions for events of the most different kind. Here from the company celebration up to the conference – your event becomes the experience.

Hall 6 – theatrical hall

340 seats, a big stage and a dreamlike back stage area: An optimum hall for performances, trainings and big as well as smaller complete productions.

Park possibilities

Enough parking bays in front of the door, the KOSMOS runs its own multi-storey car park with about 200 parking lots.
